Technical notes:
Fruit from the Mulcahy vineyard on the lower slopes of Mount Buffalo was handpicked in early April. After destemming straight into open fermenters, natural fermentation of whole berries with gentle extraction took nine days to complete. After a further maceration of five days the wine was pressed into flexcube where it matured for 17 months in contact with french oak staves before being bottled.
