Delicious example of a cool climate Durif.
Aromas of Violet lead into dense and juicy blue fruits. Soft but insistent tannins give good structure and a long palate of lingering flavour.

Technical notes:
Fruit from the Mulcahy vineyard on the lower slopes of Mount Buffalo was handpicked in early April. After destemming straight into open fermenters, natural fermentation of whole berries with gentle extraction took nine days to complete. After a further maceration of five days the wine was pressed into flexcube where it matured for 17 months in contact with french oak staves before being bottled.
